My essay project is going better than expected. I found that I couldn't just compile a bunch of blog posts, but that I needed to revise, revise. That's okay. I like writing more than I like organizing. At least I have jump-off points and don't need to create a pile of new topics.
Most of my blog posts were written off the cuff -- not a lot of thought went into them. But I find that I did some fine writing -- and some not-so-fine writing. That's how writing goes. Everything isn't a gem.
I don't think I will add anything new, per se. I already have more than fifty topics from which to choose. They just need honing.
So, what I thought would be a hopeless drudge now shows some promise.
I'm glad I stuck with it.
