My LibraryThing giveaway now has fifteen entries. It's feasible I could gather all thirty by the end of the three weeks. Of course, it's not like the biggies, who have a hundred entries for five copies. I don't care; I'm just happy to get any.
Also, ARC requests are still trickling in from Goodreads. Each one is a nice surprise and gives me a reason to log into my author email. I could have a couple more, but those respondents never provided their email addresses. It could be that they simply changed their minds. I'm certainly convinced that Goodreads is the only site that provides results. I don't even bother checking any of the others.
I still don't think I'd be willing to go through it all again ~ putting myself out there like that is very uncomfortable. I don't know what I'm expecting from this experience; hopefully a couple of reviews, I guess. And then what? I guess, ideally, I would get more people to read my other works. This latest isn't the best of the lot, in my opinion, but then again, it's right up there. It's not as if I am touting it as some kind of blockbuster, though.
Henceforth I'll just write.
